This week, we are putting the spotlight on La Sportiva, the technical partner of the msg Maraton Apuseni competitions! A leader in mountaineering and climbing footwear, La Sportiva has also successfully entered the mountain running, trekking and ski mountaineering segments.

La Sportiva has supported the msg Maraton Apuseni races for several editions, with a shared strategy of encouraging the development of the running community in Romania and Eastern Europe. Mountain running is one of the most accessible sports, but the right equipment certainly makes this activity much more enjoyable and, why not, more efficient.

Why do we value our partnership with La Sportiva?

Words are not enough to express our appreciation for the La Sportiva team and our long-standing collaboration. However, here are a few points we would like to highlight:

What will you be able to test from the La Sportiva range?

As every year, through our local representative, you will have the opportunity to test various technical equipment in the expo area at the base camp. We will receive a detailed list soon and will announce it on all channels.

In 2025, at the 14th edition of the msg Maraton Apuseni, the technical product in each runner’s kit will be: La Sportiva Skyline Cap! Made from 100% recycled material, this cap weighs only 53 grams, has a 5-panel design, an integrated sweatband and is especially recommended for running.
