msg Maraton Apuseni offers the trail running lovers five races that cross small mountain villages, hills, rivers and peaks of the Apuseni mountains. Competitors young and old are waited every year at the Buscat Ski & Summer Resort basecamp to run either one of the 3 technical races – ultra marathon, marathon or half marathon -, the 12k cross or the family race where children and parents run and enjoy the outdoors together.

About the Romanian Alpine Club – Cluj Branch
Cluj-Napoca branch of the Romanian Alpine Club was founded at the end of January 2005 by a few alpinists of the older CAR Cluj branch and other alpinists from Cluj. At that time, we thought that a university center with so many valuable sport traditions, also very animated by student life, deserved to have an alpine club for students. In the meantime, we have grown a lot due to the active involvement of our members in various activities and we now address not only the students, but all mountain lovers. Those passionate about rock climbing and ice climbing, those who love trekking on snowy ridges, but also those who wish to take light mountain treks can meet in our club other mountain lovers who can teach them about the mountains and together with whom they can evolve safely.
