msg Maraton Apuseni offers the trail running lovers five courses that traverse small mountain villages, hills, rivers and peaks of the Apuseni mountains. Competitors of all ages are awaited year after year, at the basecamp in Muntele Băișorii to run either one of the technical races – ultra marathon, marathon or half marathon – the 7k cross or the family race where children and parents run and enjoy the outdoors together.

About the Romanian Alpine Club – Cluj Branch
Cluj-Napoca branch of the Romanian Alpine Club was created at the end of January 2005, by a few alpinists of the older CAR Cluj branch and other alpinists from Cluj. At that time, we considered that a university center having so many valuable sport traditions, also very animated by student life, deserved to have an alpine club for students. The amateurs of rock climbing and ice climbing, of mountaineering of snowy ridges, but also those who wish to take light mountain treks, can meet through the club with other mountain lovers who can teach them about the mountains and together with whom they can safely evolve.
