În 19 martie, ora 18:00 invităm alergătorii de la ce cea de-a 13-a ediție msg Maraton Apuseni să participe lOn March 19, at 6:00 pm we invite runners of the 13th edition of the msg Apuseni Marathon to participate in a discussion with Nicola Giovanelli,PhD – Manaer of Team La Sportiva, who is also the technical partner of our competition!
The meeting will take place online, will be conducted in English and will address two main topics:
- How the poles affect the uphill performance: between science & practice ?
- How to train your VO2max to improve trail running performance?
We invite you to mark the date in your calendar and prepare your questions in advance!
Nicola Giovanelli was born among the Dolomites, in north-east Italy. He grew up practicing different mountain-sports (XC ski, orienteering, mountain/trail running).
He got a PhD in Exercise Physiology and Biomechanics at University of Udine and he has several publications about uphill locomotion and the use of poles. He is the Team Manager for the Team La Sportiva. Further, he coaches several trail-runners of different levels
