With great enthusiasm, on Santa day, we officially open the registration for .msg Apuseni Marathon 2024, a trail running competition that will take place on June 8, 2024! Choose NOW one of the technical races – ultramarathon, marathon or half marathon and start training! Along with technical partner La Sportiva, we are ready to challenge you on the fantastic trails of Western Carpathians!
- The Ultramarathon is definitely the highlight of the event, testing the endurance and willpower of runners over 89 km with D+ 4350 m! It is a UTMB Series pre-qualifier race, and its completion earns 4 ITRA points.
- The .msg marathon race takes runners over a distance of 44.4 km with D+ 2400 m, through dense forests and wild trails, facilitating connection with nature and one’s own strength. The marathon is also a technical, UTMB Series pre-qualifyier race and completion earns the runner 2 ITRA points.
- The Banca Transilvania Half Marathon is a fast 23.3 km race with a D+ of 1110 m that invites runners to discover Apuseni Mountains at in the mointain bats! Also a technical and UTMB Series pre-qualifier event, it earns 1 ITRA point.
- The Garmin Cross completes the range of options, with a non-technical race of only 11.7 km with D+ 614 m allowing runners to find their own pace and enjoy the unique atmosphere of the event.
- But .msg Apuseni Marathon is not only about competition and individual performance! The Family Race promotes sport for the little ones. Trail running thus becomes an activity for the entire family, encouraging health and connection with nature from an early age.
